Monthly Service Corps

Monthly Service Corps is an opportunity for Buffalo State students and youth from the West Side of Buffalo to come together to volunteer for a Saturday afternoon. Buffalo State students work with youth in local schools to identify and design a service project. All Buffalo State students are welcome to participate in any of the service projects and serve alongside youth from the West Side community.

During the 2012-2013 academic year, 71 Buffalo State students and 24 students from Lafayette and McKinley High Schools dedicated a combined total of 285 hours of service to benefit our West Side neighborhood. Past projects have included school beautification, gardening, and housing rehabilitation.

Upcoming Monthly Service Corps Dates:

March 1, 2014; 12:30-4:30pm
